Mariell Guzman is a multidisciplinary visual artist working at the intersection of identity, place, and community narrative. Drawing from both Latinx heritage and contemporary Dallas culture, Mariell creates work that is deeply personal yet broadly resonant. Mariell joins DDAMF to share insights on the practical side of art-making — from negotiating client expectations and building a personal brand, to creating a sustainable income flow as a working visual artist in the American Southwest.
